Events & Festivals

Faster gates, fewer fakes, and no cash at the bar.

The short answer

RFID festival wristbands carry a chip that your access or cashless platform reads at the gate, the bar and backstage. We match the chip to your platform, print bands to your event artwork and color-code them by ticket type. Most orders take 4 to 8 weeks from artwork approval, so plan back from gate day.

What we need from you

  • Your event dates, and the gate day the bands must be on site for
  • Expected attendance, split by ticket type, day or zone
  • Your access or cashless platform, and the chip and encoding it specifies
  • The band type you have in mind, plus your artwork and colors
Typical order
Minimums vary by product, and we confirm yours in the quote.
Lead time
Most orders take 4 to 8 weeks from artwork approval. Your quote gives you a firm date.

RFID wristbands, tickets and readers for entry, zones and cashless payment at events of any size.

At a festival, conference or hotel event, the wristband is the ticket, the ID and often the wallet. RFID bands scan in a fraction of a second, are hard to remove without cutting once fitted with a one-way or tamper-evident closure, and can be canceled if lost.

We supply woven and elastic bands for multi-day events, single-use bands for one-off parties and day tickets, RFID tickets for attractions, and long-range UHF readers for hands-free lanes. Bands are designed to your event artwork and color-coded by ticket type.

Plan back from gate day

Most orders take 4 to 8 weeks from artwork approval, and your quote gives you a firm date. Work back from the day the gates open, not the day you start thinking about bands.

  1. Confirm the chip

Ask your access or cashless platform which chip and encoding it needs, and send us that specification with your event dates.

  2. Choose bands and send artwork

Pick the band for each ticket type, day or zone, and send your logo or full design.

  3. Approve the proof

You approve a digital proof of every design. Production starts from this approval.

  4. Production and read testing

Bands are printed, chipped and read-tested before packing.

  5. Delivery

Orders ship packed and labeled by batch, ready to sort for your box office and gates.

A simple planning rule: approve artwork at least 8 weeks before gate day. That is based on our usual lead time, not a delivery promise; your quote states the date for your order.

Every band carries the chip your platform reads, sealed in the band or in a printed card tag. Not sure which one fits your event? Tell us the dates and ticket types and we recommend one in your quote.

Cashless at your event

If bars, food and merchandise run cashless, the same band can pay as well as open the gate. See cashless festival wristbands for how the band and your platform work together.

Questions buyers ask

  • How far ahead should we order?

Most orders take 4 to 8 weeks from artwork approval, and your quote gives a firm date. Allow time before that to confirm the chip with your platform and agree artwork. As a planning rule, approve your artwork at least 8 weeks before gate day so bands arrive in time to sort by ticket type.

  • Can bands be shared?

Fabric bands lock with a one-way slider that can be tightened but not loosened, and Tyvek bands tear if anyone tries to remove them, so a fitted band is hard to take off without cutting it or leaving visible damage. Your platform can also cancel a band's ID. Our guide to stopping wristband sharing covers the full set of measures.

  • Which chip do we need?

Your access or cashless platform decides the chip, so ask it for the chip type and encoding first. Most festival bands use HF 13.56 MHz chips; UHF suits hands-free lanes. We confirm the chip before we quote. Our guide to the RFID chip for event access control explains the options.
